There are several ways to appreciate an individual. Sometimes, it done with just mere words of thanks and another times, it done with actions of gifts or probably skills. But one thing stands out, appreciation is done by giving something in return.

We appreciate people who have helped us in one way or the other, no matter how little it may seem. Appreciation can cause someone to do more for us. And it will always travel down into the heart and mind (thoughts) of the individual being appreciated.


Appreciate God and all around you, because they have all imparted into you consciously or unconsciously. As long as you are in a good environment.


Paul understood this and utilized it. And he was very specific about how the appreciation should be.

That you may receive her in the Lord [with a Christian welcome], as saints (God's people) ought to receive one another. And help her in whatever matter she may require assistance from you, for she has been a helper of many including myself [shielding us from suffering].
Romans 16:2 AMPC

And what are you DOING NOW that will CAUSE people to APPRECIATE YOU TOMORROW?
Who are you STOPPING from SUFFERING?
